Route 01 - Grau Roig - Maià - Coll Blanc - Grau Roig

This is a circular route that begins at the Grau-Roig sector car park, head towards Port d’Envalira. For this section you have to take the tarmac road. Once you arrive at Port d’Envalira, you turn off-road left and take the track which is behind the Refuge Fra Miquel and continue towards the Pic Maià along the dirt track which is easy and without any techincal difficulty.

From there, you have a endless views over the entire territory of Andorra and the French border. Next, on the other side of Port d’Envalira, you must follow the path that brings you to the Coll Blanc by passing under the huge old Sud Radio antennae which straddle Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig.

After visiting these two geographically emblematic features, follow a long descent of the ski slopes which allows you discover what the many skiers descend in wintertime. Beware the last very steep part of the descent!

Once you have arrived at the Bosc de Colells zone, here certain parts the slope are a lot steeper in gradient. Finally, you return to the Grau Roig departure point.
