El Pas de la Casa – Pic Negre d'Envalira
This is a short route, but a medium-high level of physical fitness is required, as the ascent is constant and unrelenting, with some steep sections.
At km 3.3, we will reach the false Coll dels Isards, a junction where we will continue straight, and 500 meters later, we will arrive at the Coll dels Isards, where we will turn right. Only the last 800 meters remain, where we will enjoy the majesty of both sides of the Negre Peak of Envalira. At the summit, the stunning 360º views will make the effort well worth it.We will start from the Pas de la Casa Tourist Office and walk down the road until we leave the village. Next to the road, we will pass through a gate and climb up the meadow, heading south and parallel to the buildings. We will follow the well-trodden path straight ahead, always in this direction and always uphill. As we ascend, we will walk along the invisible border line, cross streams, and follow the yellow markers. At km 1.9, we will reach the Lake of the Abelletes, where we will find a signpost guiding us to Envalira Peak.
