We will start from the parking area of Collada de Beixalís, a landmark location for cycling as it is part of both the Tour de France and La Vuelta, and a boundary point between the parishes of Ordino and Encamp. This is an easy route to follow, with a well-defined path and good signage.

We will take the trail that begins just behind the monument dedicated to cycling. We will follow the yellow markers at all times, initially heading towards Bony de les Neres, which we will reach after a long and steady 3.3 km ascent, with both gentle and steeper sections throughout. Upon reaching Bony de les Neres, if we go around the facilities, we will enjoy impressive views over Encamp and the surrounding shaded mountains.

We will then continue following the signs towards Coll d’Ordino, descending along a wide track, which we will leave at around km 4 to take a path that leads directly to the pass.

Once at the flat area of Coll d’Ordino, we will turn right across the meadow, where we will find a signpost indicating the Tomb de les Neres trail. This path, with ups and downs, will occasionally offer excellent views over Encamp and the surrounding valleys and mountains.

We will reach a point where we must proceed with caution, as there are chains to hold on to. Shortly after, along a short unmarked section, we will continue to the left without gaining elevation. Soon we will reach a viewpoint, where there is a wooden bench to rest and comfortably enjoy the scenery.

We will then turn right uphill, following the signpost for the Tomb de les Neres trail. A few metres further on, we will rejoin the path from the initial ascent; we will turn left downhill and follow it all the way back to the starting point: Collada de Beixalís.
