Funicamp in summer

Immerse yourself in the nature aboard the Funicamp, the longest funitel in Europe

The Funicamp is an exceptional facility — one of Europe’s longest funitels. In less than twenty minutes, it travels over six kilometres along the Cortals d’Encamp valley to reach 2,502 metres of altitude, offering breathtaking views throughout the ride.

During the summer season, you’ll find a wide range of activities. From Solanelles, you can enjoy hiking or mountain biking routes, ride a 4x4 bus down to the Cubil lake and orri, and try catch-and-release high-mountain fishing, a guided activity perfect for children and adults looking to connect with nature.

At the intermediate stop, there’s something for all adventure lovers:

  • The guided via ferrata of Clots de l’Aspra, perfect for beginners. The activity will take place every Thursday at 10:30 am, costs 45 euros per person, and includes insurance. Places are limited and prior reservation is required through the Encamp Tourist Offices or by email at bookingpasgrau@grandvalira.com

  • The Cortals climbing wall, suitable for all levels.

  • The Encamp Tibetan Bridge, a 50-metre-long aerial walkway for those who love thrills and altitude.

Finally, don’t miss the Route of the Orris, a trail through traditional dry-stone shepherd shelters that tells the story of mountain life in summer. Divided into three sections (Les Deveses, Cubil, and Encenrera), it’s a historical and scenic walk, suitable for all ages and abilities.
