Located at an altitude of 2,258m and within idyllic surroundings, the ‘Estany de les Abelletes’ lake pic-nic area is equipped with 6 BBQ grills and 4 tables. There is no spring water source. Car parking is available at Costa Rodona and on the ‘Avinguda d’Encamp’ road car park in Pas de la Casa. However access is quite difficult from the Costa Rodona forest track.
We can access it more easily from the car park located on the ‘Avinguda d’Encamp’ road (Pas de la Casa) by following the local path that leads to the ‘Estany de les Abelletes’ lake. In the months of July and August it can be accessed by using the Granvalira station’s ‘Coll dels Isards’ ski-lift. Once there, you can enjoy the multitude of activities on offer around the lake.
